Our Company, Acetaia Borgo Castello Srl is a subsidiary company of Toschi Vignola Srl, food production company with 70 years of experience in the food&beverage sector and a wide range of products for all kinds of consumers.
Acetaia Borgo Castello was founded to produce and supply Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP in bulk, but also condiments and creams based on Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
The production of vinegar in bulk in particular is focused to companies interested to private label bottling, or for food service and canning industry.
Acetaia Borgo Castello produces Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI in the heart of the land of Balsamic Vinegar's ancient tradition, in Savignano sul Panaro (Modena), providing their customers a worldwide acknowledged excellence of the territory.
The respect for tradition, the tight relationship with the origin zone and the careful selection of raw materials are the basis of all the company's activities.
Thank to a big productive capacity of million liters a year, Acetaia Borgo Castello Srl is able to supply any quantity and quality of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP, ready to be bottled with a private label or to be used as raw material for producing condiments, sauces, dressing, creams and other specialities based on Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP.
With a scheduled production in bymonthly cycles, on each season of the year we are able to supply even big quantites of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena offering a wide variety of qualities, with or without additives, ideal to produce creams and dressing or for borettane onions pickled.
Acetaia Borgo Castello is also able to supply Aceto Balsamico di Modena "Aged", a product submitted to a 3 years period of aging in oak barrels.
Acetaia Borgo Castello is a company that combines production efficiency, technology, knowledge and a continous careful to the quality. Infact, we work respecting accurate and rigorous production protocols and with an internal laboratory that guarantees quality and genuinity of every product.
The whole production is approved by the CSQA, the authority for the respect of the Protected geographical indication, and is certified ISO 9001/2008, IFS Version 6 ( Higher Level achieved) and BRC Version 7 ( Grade AA achieved). Since 2013 our vinegar is also certified Halal Global.
Acetaia Borgo Castello is also certified BioAgricert and able to provide Organic-NOP Balsamic vinegar of Modena PGI.
Acetaia Borgo Castello is associated to the Consorzio Tutela Aceto Balsamico di Modena, one of the most important players for the respect of the denomination, which, aggregating many companies of this sector and with a daily pledge, carried out the registration of the denomination "Aceto Balsamico di Modena (I.G.P.) at the European Union, happened in the July 2009.
Currently, the Consortium operates for both the monitoring of the market and for defending by imitative products and with consulting activities at the Italian Minister for Agriculture to obtain the regulation of production activities and control systems.
Moreover, It promotes the product and its features, either by using mass-media and partecipating to trade shows and events, in Italy and abroad, often in collaboration with other consortiums for the protection of typical products.
